Located just 10 minutes outside the City of Asahikawa, this ski hill not only provides beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs, but also a unique homage to Santa Claus and the different ways Christmas is celebrated around the world. The base lodge is called the Valentine Chapel and is where lift tickets for the hill’s five lifts are sold. Snowboarders will enjoy the long half pipe and beginners are provided with ideal conditions to improve their skills on the wide groomed runs. Magic carpets allow easy access for children and there is also a children’s run making this a great family and beginner orientated mountain. The ski area offers daily night skiing until 9 p.m. and the top of the hill affords spectacular views of Asahikawa City’s lights at night. |

In 2001, the mountain hosted the Snowboard World Cup where pro snowboarders from around the world could not say enough good things about the top-quality snow. If you are in Asahikawa City or boarding at nearby Kamui, drop in for a couple of hours just to check out this one of a kind ski area. |
