Day Trip & Shuttle Bus

There are a variety of day trip and shuttle bus options offered from Furano connecting visitors with numerous indoor and outdoor activities, as well as off-piste and backcountry ski areas.

Evening shuttle buses between the city and ski area operate during the winter season making it easy to get downtown or to one of the many tourist destinations. Information about the different bus tours are listed below. Tailor made bus tours can also be arranged by contacting one of the listed offices.

Notice:

  • Reservations must be received by 5 p.m. of the day prior to tour. Bus tours will be cancelled when less than four reservations are received.
  • Guides do not accompany the bus tour.
  • For advanced ski tours and guided backcountry ski tours offered from Furano, please enquire at the Furano Tourism Centre.

Kamui Ski Links Bus Tour

Depart Furano 8 a.m. ⇒ Arrive Kamui Ski Links 9:15 a.m. Depart Kamui Ski Links 3 p.m. ⇒ Arrive Furano 4:15 p.m.

*Round-trip fare ¥2,800 per person (One-way fare ¥1,500)
* A five-day Furano lift pass can be used for one day of skiing at Kamui Ski Links.

Tomamu Bus Tour		 Depart Furano 8 a.m. ⇒ Arrive Tomamu 9:45 a.m.

*Wed. & Fri. *Round-trip fare ¥3,500 per person (One-way fare ¥2,000)

Private Bus Tour to Mt. Asahidake		 *Prices start at ¥9,000 per person (price includes round-trip bus fare and ropeway ticket)
*Ropeway service may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Asahiyama Zoo Shuttle Bus (Japan’s Most Northern Zoo) *In service: December 1, 2008 – April 5, 2009 (Not in service Dec. 30 – Jan. 1)
*Bus fare: Adults ¥2,300, Elementary School Students ¥1,600, Toddlers are Free

Hot Spring Bus Tour Depart Furano 3 p.m. ⇒ Arrive Tokachidake Hot Spring “Gakuginso” 4 p.m.
Depart Tokachidake Hot Spring “Hakuginso” 6 p.m. ⇒ Arrive Furano 7 p.m.
*Mon., Wed., Fri. *Bus tour to the natural hot spring “Hakuginso.”
*Hakuginso: Separate baths for men and women as well as open-air baths of various temperatures. There is also a mixed-sex open-air bath where bathing suits are required.
